This Privacy Policy applies to Drape & Stitch (“we”, “our”, or “us”). Drape & Stitch has adopted this privacy policy ("Privacy Policy") to explain how we collect, store, and use your information. This Privacy Policy applies to all online service locations operated or controlled by Drape & Stitch that post a link to this Privacy Policy, including our website atwww.drapeandstitch.com, our apps, our customer service program, and all features, contents, and other services operated or controlled by Drape & Stitch through such online service locations (collectively, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy does not apply to our information collection activities outside the Service (unless otherwise stated below or at the time of collection).
By using the Service, you agree to our Terms of Use and consent to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
If you are located elsewhere, we may not be subject to the laws in your jurisdiction, but we maintain privacy safeguards that should be substantively consistent with privacy laws in most jurisdictions, particularly where they are similar to the laws in Canada.
Drape & Stitch is the controller of any personal information collected and processed from your use of the Service.

Information Collection
A. Information You Provide
We collect information you submit directly, which may identify you. Categories (past 12+ months) include:
- Contact Data: name, email, postal address, phone.
- Credentials: passwords and similar authentication data.
- Demographic Data: age, birthdate, gender, country (for age-appropriate access).
- Payment Data: payment instrument details, shipping address, transaction info.
- Profile Data: username, interests, favorites, other profile fields.
- Contacts: if you invite/match contacts (where offered).
- Content: messages, feedback, reviews, and communications needed to provide services (e.g., chat content you direct us to display).
Collection Points (examples):
- Account Registration: date of birth, location, email, username, password; sometimes name, city, postal code, gender.
- Profile: your screen name is public by default; visibility can be adjusted in account settings at drapeandstitch.com.
- Public Areas: forums/blogs/chats may be readable by others; posted info can be collected and used by third parties.
- Store: purchases require Payment Data and Contact Data.
- Promotions: entries may require email/screen name; winners may need name and address.
- Support: we may request contact details to verify identity and respond.
- Jobs/Surveys: submissions used for evaluation and improving the Service.
We collect only what is reasonably necessary. Declining requested data may limit features. Information you voluntarily submit beyond what we request is your responsibility.
B. Information Collected Automatically
We automatically collect, for example:
- Service Use Data: features used, pages viewed, timestamps, interactions, purchases.
- Device/Config Data: browser, OS, language, IP, device IDs (e.g., IDFA/AAID), MAC address.
- Location Data: precise (GPS/cell/Wi-Fi) where enabled, or imprecise (e.g., IP-based city).

- Log Files for activity metrics and improvements.
- Cookies for preferences/analytics; see Cookie Settings on the Service.
- Clear GIFs / Pixels for reach, navigation, and campaign measurement.
- App SDKs/APIs (where applicable) that may use your mobile Ad ID.
C. Information from Other Sources
- Data brokers (e.g., demographics) to supplement our data.
- Social/gaming platforms (e.g., Steam, Twitch) when you permit access.
We may use publicly available, de-identified, or aggregated data as allowed by law.

A. Disclosures in the Last 12+ Months
- Service Providers: operations, fulfillment, payments, email, marketing, analytics, support. Contract-restricted uses; may use aggregate/de-identified data. Categories: Contact, Payment, Credentials, Demographic, Profile, Contacts, Content.
- Vendors: analytics/ads tech acting as providers or independent controllers. Categories: Contact, Credentials, Profile.
- Affiliates: support, marketing, technical operations. Categories: Contact, Credentials, Payment, Profile.
- Partners/Promotions: co-branded services and promotion administration (per official rules).
- Facilitating Requests: disclosures you direct (e.g., social or platform linking).
B. Other Disclosures
- M&A / Corporate Events: to successors/assignees during or after transactions.
- Legal / Security: to comply with law, protect rights/safety, investigate abuse/fraud/IP issues.
- With Consent: for other purposes with notice and your consent.
We may share de-identified or aggregated data for permitted purposes.
Social Media and Technology Integrations
Parts of the Service run on or link to platforms we do not control. If you engage with our content on those services or connect accounts, they may share profile and activity data per their policies (e.g., name, email, friends/follows, posts/likes, content viewed, ad interactions). Posts referencing our Service (e.g., using a branded hashtag) may be used on/in connection with the Service.
When you leave our Service, the third party’s policies govern. Review their privacy terms before sharing data.
Analytics and Advertising
We use analytics (e.g., Google Analytics) and work with ad tech partners. We may incorporate Tracking Technologies on our sites/emails and in ads elsewhere for measurement, cross-device association, and interest-based advertising (“IBA”). We may also use audience matching (“Matched Ads”) by uploading lists or using pixels. Our current partner list is available here.

A. Jurisdictional Rights
Additional rights may apply based on where you live. See jurisdiction-specific sections below.
B. Review/Update Account Information
If you have an account, review or update Contact Data in settings or contact us (see Contact Us). We may retain data as required by law or legitimate interests (e.g., disputes, fraud prevention).
C. Posted Content
You may edit/delete your public posts where available, or request changes via Contact Us. Removal from public view may not mean complete deletion (e.g., backups, legal obligations).
D. Tracking Technology Choices
- Cookies/Pixels: manage via browser/settings; functionality may be affected.
- Location: control via OS/app permissions; uninstall app to stop app collection.
- Do Not Track: industry standards vary; we do not act on DNT signals.
E. Analytics & Interest-Based Ads

To opt-out of Matched Ads, contact us (see Contact Us) or use the applicable platform controls. Opt-outs are browser/device-specific. We are not responsible for third-party opt-out tool effectiveness.
F. Unlinking Accounts
Unlink social/gaming accounts in your Drape & Stitch settings. Prior disclosures remain subject to those platforms.
G. Communications
Unsubscribe from promotional emails via the link in our emails or contact us. We may still send transactional or policy notices. Opt-outs apply to the email used.
Data Security
We implement administrative, physical, and technical safeguards designed to protect your information. No internet transmission or storage is fully secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International Transfer of Information
Drape & Stitch is based in Canada. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer, processing, and storage of your information in Canada and other jurisdictions where we operate. Where required (e.g., UK/EEA/ Switzerland), we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Policy at any time. Changes are effective upon posting. Material changes may be notified by email. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance.

US State-Specific Disclosures and Rights
This section applies to residents of CA, CO, CT, DE, IA, MT, NE, NH, NJ, OR, TX, UT, and VA (collectively, “State Privacy Laws”). Depending on your state, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, opt-out of certain sharing/targeted advertising, and more.
Notice of Collection
In the past 12 months we (or our providers) may have collected the following categories: identifiers (e.g., name, email, IP), customer records (billing, payment card details), commercial info (purchases/use), internet activity (browsing/interaction), geolocation data, and inferences about preferences.

Right to Opt-Out
Where applicable, you may opt out of sales/sharing/targeted ads by emailing info@drapeandstitch.com. Account holders may also visit their profile settings (e.g., “Opt out of targeted data analytics”). You can also use platform/browser tools described in Your Rights and Choices.
Right to Access, Delete, or Correct
You may request (subject to exceptions): categories/sources of personal information collected; business/commercial purposes; categories of third parties; categories of information disclosed/sold; and specific pieces of information. You may also request deletion or correction.
Submit requests to info@drapeandstitch.com and state the right you are exercising and scope. We will confirm receipt within 10 business days when feasible and may require identity verification (and email confirmation) before processing.
- We do not knowingly sell/share data of minors under 18.
- We do not engage in impactful profiling, nor use sensitive data beyond described purposes.
- We generally do not offer financial incentives for personal information unless disclosed at collection.
Authorized Agents
You may designate an agent; we require proof of authorization and will verify your identity.
Appeals
If we deny a request, you may appeal by emailing info@drapeandstitch.com. If denied again, you may contact your state Attorney General.
Minors
We do not knowingly sell/share personal information of individuals under 18. Parents/guardians may withdraw authorization via Cookie Settings or email.
Right to Non-Discrimination
You will not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
California “Shine the Light”

Additional Disclosures for Europe (EEA/UK/CH)
For users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, the GDPR and related laws provide additional rights. Drape & Stitch acts as a controller for personal data collected via our sites, emails, and advertisements.

Your European Rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction, or object to processing; and withdraw consent at any time for consent-based processing.
